The Musica Mundi Orchestra has started its annual work

Writer's picture: Musica MundiMusica Mundi

The Musica Mundi School String Orchestra, directed by conductor Leonid Kerbel, met for their first rehearsal of the 2024-25 academic year last Thursday, September 19th. It is a larger orchestra than before due to the numerous new students that have joined the school and the repertoire, which includes the  Tchaikovsky Serenade, promises a wonderful moment of music.

You will hear the first results of the orchestra’s intensive weekly work at our Festive concert of December and then later in the year, we will be putting on a special “orchestra” concert – an exciting first for the school. We will give you the date of this special concert in due course.
